Luxury Landscape Design Dubai | Sobha Hartland Project
The Challenge & Goal
The primary challenge of the Sobha Hartland project was to transform a private outdoor area into a multi-functional luxury landscape design in Dubai that caters to all family members. The goal was to create a seamless transition between the villa’s modern architecture and its surroundings. We aimed to integrate three distinct zones: a serene water feature wall for visual impact, an intimate outdoor “outdoor majlis” for social gatherings, and a safe, high-end play area for children, all within a cohesive and breathable layout.

This landscape project stands out for its architectural use of materials and light. A key highlight is the feature wall, which combines vertical wood slats with integrated waterfalls and lush greenery, creating a soothing auditory and visual experience. The outdoor lounge is a sunken-style sanctuary with a bespoke circular wooden table and minimalist seating, perfect for evening relaxation. For the younger family members, we designed a dedicated play zone with modern equipment that complements the villa’s aesthetic. High-quality stone pavers and strategic night lighting enhance the grandeur of the space, making it a true extension of the interior luxury.
Our Approach & Solution
Our approach centered on “Zoning with Fluidity.” To solve the spatial challenge, we used different floor textures and lighting schemes to define the water, lounge, and play areas without using restrictive partitions. We integrated soft-scape elements like manicured lawns and tropical plants to soften the villa’s white exterior. The lighting design was a crucial solution, using warm recessed spotlights to highlight the water features and architectural greenery at night. The final result is a sophisticated luxury landscape design that maximizes the outdoor lifestyle, providing a private oasis in the heart of Dubai.
